Feed the Community Thanksgiving Meal and Turkey-Give-Away in Memory of Lady Tanya Reed

Too many of our community members do not have the wherewithal to have a traditional family style Thanksgiving dinner. Recognizing this need, the Foundation began hosting the Feed the Community Thanksgiving Event at various local churches to give community members an opportunity to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, fellowship and enjoy each other’s company. Each year, the Community Thanksgiving Event serves an estimated 500 community residents Thanksgiving meals. In addition, an estimated 200 Thanksgiving meals are delivered to local shelters housing people who are homeless.
